In this episode of Intermittent Fasting Stories, Gin talks to Vanessa Avalos from Bridgeport, CT.
Are you looking for intermittent fasting support in a cozy community that celebrates the clean fast? Join us on the Delay, Don’t Deny Social Network! Instead of relying on the big social network most of us have been on for years, we now have a community that is completely separate and just for us, with a variety of groups you can join for the support and community you need.
You can connect directly with Gin in the Ask Gin group, and she’ll answer all of your questions personally. If you’re new to intermittent fasting or recommitting to the IF lifestyle, join the 28-Day FAST Start group, and both Gin and the other group members will walk virtually beside you each day of your FAST Start.
Members of the DDD Social Network have access to all episodes of Intermittent Fasting Stories streaming within the DDDSN platform, ad-free! That’s just one reason to join.
Visit dddsocialnetwork.com to join our membership community. An annual membership is $59.95. If you aren’t ready to fully commit for a year, join for $9.99 a month and you can cancel at any time. If you know you’ll want to stay forever, we also have a lifetime membership option available.
IF is free. You don’t need to join our community to fast. But if you’re looking for support from a community of like-minded IFers, we are here for you at dddsocialnetwork.com.
Vanessa Avalos is a Community Support Specialist. In May of 2019, she was diagnosed with sleep apnea, and her doctor advised her to use a CPAP machine. At this point, Vanessa had reached her highest weight, and she knew it was time for a change.
She decided to do research on how to get healthier. Vanessa found a YouTube video about intermittent fasting, and started IF that day! She knew that IF would be something she could do for the rest of her life.
Vanessa’s health has greatly improved! Her acid reflux and congestion are both gone, and she sleeps better. She has lost 66 pounds, going from 240 to 173 pounds.
The advice Vanessa would give to new IFers: “Find an IF support group. Take pictures because the scale doesn’t always show progress. Don’t compare your journey to others. Follow your own path.”
